USDT-margined perpetuals

Trade the move, up or down

Perpetual futures let you take a leveraged long or short view on a coin with USDT as collateral. Practise with demo balances, a live reference price and plain-language risk numbers before every order.

Listed contracts

Leverage is risky.

A 10× position loses 10% of its margin for every 1% the price moves against it, and is liquidated after roughly a 9% adverse move. Only trade amounts you can afford to lose. Voracex futures run on demo balances and are not investment advice.

Perpetuals in plain words

A contract, not the coin

A perpetual tracks the price of an asset without you owning it. There is no expiry date: you hold the position until you close it or it is liquidated.

Go long or short

Long profits when the price rises. Short profits when it falls. Either way your profit or loss is the price change multiplied by your position size.

Leverage and margin

Margin is the USDT you put up. Leverage multiplies it into a bigger position: 100 USDT at 10× controls 1,000 USDT. Up to 20× is available here.

Liquidation

Each position uses isolated margin. If losses reach 90% of it, the position is closed automatically and the margin is lost. Higher leverage means a closer liquidation price.

One simple fee

Opening a position costs 0.05% of its notional value. Closing is free. Entries and exits fill at the reference mark price.

What the demo leaves out

No funding payments, no order book, no partial closes and no cross margin. It is a learning tool for how leverage and liquidation behave.

Worked example

You open a 10× long on BTC with 100 USDT of margin at a mark price of 80,000.

Position size

1,000 USDT ≈ 0.0125 BTC

Fee to open: 0.50 USDT

BTC rises 2% to 81,600

+20 USDT (+20%)

Close and receive 120 USDT

BTC falls 9% to 72,800

Liquidated

The 100 USDT margin is lost
